A mythical place of the Corsican mountains. Away from crowded trails, we will discover the wonders of this site: granite peaks, wild forest, and secret valleys. We will have a well deserved picnic in an exceptional location with a breathtaking view across the south of Corsica and Sardinia sometimes. With a little luck, we will cross the path of the master of the place: the Corsican wild sheep, majestic animal and emblem of our mountains.

Only 35 mn away from Porto-Vechio, in the deep heart of Alta-Rocca, an outstanding stone citadel, we will go off to explore, among mysterious forest and granite rocks, the natural and historical heritage of the site.
During the picnic, you’ll enjoy one of the finest view in South Corsica.

Unique spot in the Corsican mountains, i Pozzi will delight young and old. A valley of soft lawns crossed by a clear stream and multiple water holes. We will have lunch in this charming site, and you will then discover all the wonders of the place. On our way down, you will be introduced to the Corsican shepherds ancestral way of life, as we shall make a stop at the pozzi sheepfold.

Highest peak of South Corsica, Monte Renosu has one of the most beautiful lookout in Corsica. After a break on the welcoming shores of Lake Bastani, we will enter high moutain area with its eternal snows. We will walk in a mineral world filled with tiny endemic plants, and finally discover the summit. One of the most beautiful panoramic view of the island awaits you: the highest mountains in Corsica with the Mediterranean sea lying at their feet.
